IBC700-4 (IBASE)

IBC700 is a PICMG 2.0 compliant 6U CompactPCI Board featuring fanless operation with the low-power and low-voltage Intel Mobile Celeron and Pentium III (BGA2) processors. The IBC700 comes integrated with the Intel 440BX AGPset to support Intel Celeron and Pentium III processors with up to 700MHz clock speeds running 100MHz front side bus. The Celeron and Pentium III processors integrate a Level 2 cache that operates at full CPU speed. Designed for high reliability, IB700 does not require a CPU fan but only a passive heat sink. For networking functionality and availability, IBC700 is equipped with two Intel 82559 Fast Ethernet controllers that can be configured to double the available bandwidth. The Intel 21150 or TI2050 embedded PCI to PCI bridge increases data throughput in a variety of PC applications including networking and data storage. It also supports buffering of simultaneous multiple posted write and delayed transactions in both directions and allows the two PCI buses to operate concurrently. The onboard SMI SM721G4/G8 VGA controller comes with 4MB/8MB of embedded memory that provides a resolution of 1024 x 768, 16M colors @ 85Hz. Both CRT and LCD displays are supported. Additional features of the IBC700 include two DIMM memory sockets supporting up to 512MB of SDRAM, DiskOnChip interface for flash disks of up to 144MB size, and functionalities such as keyboard/ mouse,floppy disk interface, IDE interface, two COM ports and a printer port. One PMC connector is available to add Ethernets, PCI SCSI and other devices.
